Franklin Graham’s “God loves you” UK tour kicks off

More than 700 people dedicated their lives to Christ at the Franklin Graham’s “God loves you tour” in the United Kingdom late last month where the late Billy Graham’s son travelled around, Sheffield, Liverpool and Newport to spread the Gospel of Christ.

The ‘God loves you’ tour according to Global News Alliance saw more than 11,000 people in attendance of which over 700 people converted. The President of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and Samaritan’s Purse worked together with more than 2000 Christians from across the UK to ensure a smooth running tour.

Robert Chilvers, the UK Director of BGEA in his speech said, “There is a real sense that we’re here for this time and what Franklin was talking about we feel very similarly that God has stepped in and this is a key time for the proclamation of the Gospel, especially emerging out of the pandemic and the results of the pandemic. Emerging from that, we feel very much not only that we have the opportunity but we can encourage other churches to take the opportunity to proclaim the Gospel boldly and clearly.”

The tour which will continue on July 16, 2022, will also feature gospel singers like Cece Winans and Michael W. Smith at Excel London while Evangelist Franklin Graham will be sharing messages of hope.

Franklin Graham has devoted his life to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and meeting the needs of suffering people around the world.

In addition to serving as president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Franklin also leads the international Christian relief and evangelism organization Samaritan’s Purse, which helps meet the needs of refugees, victims of war and natural disasters, the sick, the poor and the suffering in more than 100 countries around the world.
