Pastor Kumuyi Receives US Presidential Invitation

Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), has been extended an invitation to attend the inauguration of United States President-elect Donald Trump. The event is scheduled to take place on January 20, 2025, in Washington, D.C.

Pastor Kumuyi, a globally respected spiritual leader, will join other prominent figures from around the world to witness this historic occasion. The invitation highlights the importance of religious freedom and the role of faith-based leaders in shaping global policies.

Reflecting on the invitation, Pastor Kumuyi praised President Trump for his unwavering commitment to Christian values and international religious freedom. He noted that during Trump’s first term, significant strides were made in promoting faith-based initiatives and addressing issues critical to the global Christian community.

“President Trump’s stand for the gospel is not without recognition, not just by American Christians, but by believers worldwide,” Pastor Kumuyi remarked. He emphasized the need for continued dialogue and collaboration among faith leaders to further the cause of religious liberty and moral leadership.

During his visit to Washington, D.C., Pastor Kumuyi is expected to engage in a series of high-profile meetings with U.S. lawmakers, church leaders, and media representatives. These engagements aim to foster discussions on key issues affecting the global Christian community and to advocate for policies that uphold religious freedom.

Accompanied by his wife, Esther, Pastor Kumuyi underscored the importance of adapting approaches to spreading the gospel in today’s world. “We cannot continue to do things in the same way and expect better results. We need to interact with gatekeepers to further spread the gospel,” he urged during a recent global address.

Pastor Kumuyi’s presence at the inauguration underscores the church’s role in fostering dialogue and advancing Christian values on the global stage. His participation in this key event is a testament to the enduring influence of faith-based leadership in shaping a more united and spiritually enriched world.
