RCCG To Celebrate Convention With 70 Musical Horns, Announces Programmes

The intercontinental music director of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Kunle Ajayi has revealed that this year’s convention of the Church-themed Perfect Jubilee is unique and important as a Church because it symbolizes a major landmark in the Church’s epochal and divinely orchestrated history.

In a chat with journalists, Ajayi stated that the music department of the Church is set with an all-around music presentation that includes 70 powerful horns which symbolize 70 years of the ministry, 300 orchestras, thousands of mass choirs and foreign gospel artists.

He also revealed that this is the 40th year of the anniversary of the campground. “That is why our celebration of Jubilee means a lot more than just a celebration of our 70 years of existence.

“We want to use this medium to appreciate God in the life of our father in the Lord, our beloved daddy and general overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and our Mama Pastor Folu Adeboye for exemplary leadership and yielding to God in taking the Church to where God has destined it to be.

“The event is starting on the 8th to 14th of August. It is a must for great minds to attend,” he declared.

Also, the pastorate of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has announced plans to celebrate the church’s 70th anniversary which began with a prayer walk on July 31 and would last for seven days.

According to the church’s leadership, seven prayer huts have been created for people who desire scheduled places to pray at different locations on the campground during the convention.

The occasion will also see free training in technology and digital education to empower 7,000 people in one year.

The Pastorate of RCCG stated, “With great joy, delight and acknowledgement of the faithfulness of God, we wish to announce the Perfect Jubilee Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

“RCCG was divinely revealed to our late Founder and General Superintendent, Rev. Josiah Akindayomi, in the year 1952.

“His obedience, zeal, trust in God and commitment to prayer and the word of God truthfully watered the mustard seed that God planted 70 years ago into a behemoth and colossal kingdom vehicle the world is seeing today.”
