Shoppers break out in worship while waiting in line

They say that a time of calamity brings out the best or worst in a person, and it certainly brought out some amazing worship from a bunch of strangers waiting at a grocery store (Sam’s Club) checkout point. They belted out, ‘My God Is Awesome’ while waiting in a long line at the grocery store. My God is awesome Heals me when I’m broken Gives strength where I’ve been weakened Forever he will reign My God is awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome My God is awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome. It was such an incredible moment to watch all of these strangers stand together to sing of the glory of our Lord. The video was posted to Facebook by Michelle Holland Conner, saying, “Sometimes you need a little church. Even if it’s in Sam’s Club.” The song was written by Charles C. Jenkins II, born in 1975, an American gospel musician who began his music career in 2012, with the release of The Best Of Both Worlds, which would go on to the Billboard magazine breakthrough release. He is a graduate of both Moody Bible Institute and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and became the pastor of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Chicago. The clip which was viewed 14 million times reminds us that God is in control in every situation. Sam’s West, Inc.
